We are on the home straight, tiles are I will grout them hopefully one night after work. The floor need finishing and the plinths need to be put in, But it looks almost finished ....phew
I know this will be the most inappropriate thing to say, but the coolest accessoire in this WHOW kitchen is the cat flap :D Love the tiles, they look stunning. I reckon all this was well worth the effort! x
Haha, its the only thing we don't us, we no longer have a cat and wont while our old dog is still with us, as I don;t think he could cope with another cat in the house
Glad you've nearly finished the kitchen and it looks amazing. Looking at your floor ive had black flooring for my last 3 Kitchens, so may go there again, I think we can get away with it as its such a sunny place. I think hubby wants something different this time! Anyway flooring man is due today so we can look at some of his samples. xx
Wow your kitchen is lovely. Ours needs replacing big time. Makes your original one look delightful. In fact even to describe what we have currently as a kitchen is an exaggeration. Watch that cat flap, mine drags living (and dead) things through ours. Are you finding the ikea units easy to install? (interested future customer)
Yes the cupboards were a doddle but a bit heavier than we expected. Once you have figered one out they all basically are made up the same was so it become quicker and quicker. Use there planner and it will give you a break down of everything you need and a cost, it meant we did it in stages and knew exactly what to buy when, feel free to e-mail me through my folksy shop if you want an speciaifc information and hope you get it done its fab to have that senses of achievement afterwards
